Bot server upgrades
Standard credit-based bot servers can be upgraded in steps. The configured steps are 256 MB RAM for 1 extra credit/day, 500 MB disk for 1 extra credit/day, 25% CPU for 1 extra credit/day, and each backup slot adds 1 extra credit/day. Current standard caps are 4096 MB RAM, 10240 MB disk, 200% CPU, and 20 backup slots, unless a plan raises an eligible cap.
Web server upgrades
Web servers use 256 MB RAM steps at 2 credits/day, 1024 MB disk steps at 2 credits/day, 25% CPU steps at 2 credits/day, and each backup slot adds 2 credits/day. Current caps are 8192 MB RAM, 20480 MB disk, 200% CPU, and 10 backup slots.
Immediate upgrade charge
When you add an upgrade while paid runtime is already active, the backend charges the increase on a prorated basis for the remaining runtime. If there is no paid runtime active, adding an upgrade starts a fresh 24-hour period and the full new daily server cost is due.
Removing a resource upgrade reduces the future daily cost, but it does not retroactively refund runtime that has already been consumed. Always check that your application still fits inside the lower RAM, CPU, disk, or backup limit.
